The ClassicSole Yes, it's synthetic - and traditionally synthetic materials don't have much "slideability" - but the Bleyer ClassicSole is different: You can spin on it. You can slide on it. You can swivel on it. And you won't slide all over the place when you rock step. (Great for aerials). You asked for a sole with a heel and a hidden support... and guess what.... (see hidden support in middle of photo!) It has a wedge that is only visible from the bottom that adds extra support where there would normally be nothing. Swing dancers love the Bleyer SpecialSole - and the ClassicSole is made out of the same material!. These have been quite thoroughly "dancer tested" and passed with flying colors.
